Heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury came up with a novel plan to psych out world champ Wladimir Klitschko ahead of their title fight on Saturday: a love song serenade.

Clutching a microphone during a pre-fight workout in Dusseldorf, Germany, British fighter Fury bizarrely broke into an acapella version of the Bette Midlerclassic "Wind Beneath My Wings" in an attempt to get under the 39-year-old Ukrainian champ's skin.

Fury, 27, even went so far as to change the words of the hit song to taunt his ring rival, warbling, "You were the one with all the glory. I will be the one with all the belts."

Klitschko – who welcomed daughter Kaya Evdokia with Nashville star Hayden Panettiere last December – simply looked on in bemused silence.

But then, the heavyweight champ – who's risking his WBA, WBO and IBF championship belts at Dusseldorf's 50,000-capacity Esprit Arena – has far more pressing matters on his mind.

In October, his fiancée entered treatment for postpartum depression

A rep for Panettiere told PEOPLE at the time that she was "voluntarily seeking professional help at a treatment center. She asks that the media respect her privacy during this time."

Panettiere, 26, has been extremely open about her struggles since Kaya's arrival.

"It's something a lot of women experience," she said during an interview on Live with Kelly and Michael in September.

"But you don't realize how broad of a spectrum you can really experience that on. It's something that needs to be talked about. Women need to know that they're not alone, and that it does heal."

Panettiere added, "It's something that's completely uncontrollable. It's really painful and it's really scary and women need a lot of support."

Tyson Fury vs. Wladimir Klitschko airs live on HBO, Saturday at 4:45 p.m. EST.
