Infographic: Blending Telltale's Game Series with the HBO Show

The sixth and final episode of Game of Thrones' first season finally comes out on Tuesday, and, after the shocking events at the end of Episode 5, it's safe to say that this is the most anticipated episode yet.

But wait, you say. Episode 6 of Season 1 aired on May 22, 2001 -- it was the one where Drogo gives Viserys that wicked “golden crown.”
To which I reply: (1) Your capacity to nail Game of Thrones trivia never fails to surprise me, and (2) I'm actually talking about Episode 6 of the Telltale Game Series.
But you’d be forgiven for mistaking the Game Series for the show. Telltale’s games have much more in common with prestige TV than Call of Duty: they provide episodic, narratively driven, emotionally mature entertainment. You don’t need to be a lifelong gamer to enjoy Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series -- a PC and a few hours’ time to enjoy an episode will suffice.
And the coolest part about the Game Series is that it’s deeply entwined with the TV show, featuring a number of your favorite characters from the show (voiced by the real-life actors) and expanding on events from theRed/Purple Wedding era of the show timeline.
To illustrate just how the show and the game series play off each other, we’ve created this handy infographic timeline that will quickly get you up to speed.
(Warning: For the spoiler-phobic, this infographic does contain some spoilers about the game and the show. Expand at your own risk!)
